I decided weeks ago I wanted to start blogging, the problem was, I couldn't decide on a name for my page. Who did I want the internet world to know me as and more importantly, what part of me was I willing to share with them? I thought about such names as "today is the day" ... too motivational speech-ish, "Dear laptop diary" ... too 60's mom whose trying to connect with her kids-ish, "Confessions of a shopaholic" ... too I copied this from a title of a book I read when I was 18-ish and I even thought about just leaving the title blank until the right title just hit me ... whenever that maybe.
But as I started creating this page, the E.C.C calmly crossed my mind and I knew it was it. A title that sums up exactly what's going on in my life without confining my posts to any one topic and (as an added bonus) it doesn't involve the title to any song that I've had on repeat for days because I've mangled the meaning of the lyrics to mean way more to my personal life than they ever should.
So, if the life of a semi mid-20 something, semi-starting over, interests you- I encourage you to follow along. I promise it will be interesting- cause while my book is far from over it's certainly time for a new chapter on a new coast to begin.
